Creating Your First Workspace

A workspace in Scrummy is your team's home base. Here's how to set one up.

What is a Workspace?

A workspace is where your team:

  • Runs retrospectives
  • Tracks action items
  • Views sprint history
  • Manages integrations

Creating a Workspace

Step 1: Start Creation

  1. After logging in, click Create Workspace
  2. Or go to Settings > Workspaces > New Workspace

Step 2: Basic Information

  • Name: Your company or team name
  • Description: A brief description (optional)
  • Logo: Upload your team's logo

Step 3: Configure Settings

  • Default retrospective template: Choose your preferred template
  • Timer duration: Set default timer for retrospective sessions
  • Voting: Enable or disable anonymous voting

Workspace Roles

Best Practices

  1. Use a clear name - Make it easy for team members to identify
  2. Set up integrations early - Connect Linear or Jira for better context
